Building on the concepts introduced in the first webinar, Professor Stephen Senn examined statistical approaches for analysing sets of N-of-1 trials and estimating individual treatment effects. The session focused on mixed models with random subject effects, approaches to analysing multiple N-of-1 trials, and practical considerations for planning future studies. Throughout the series, the emphasis was on practical application rather than mathematical derivation, with examples demonstrating analyses using R, SAS and Genstat. Together, the two webinars provide a practical introduction to the design, analysis and planning of N-of-1 trials.
