The Leuven Statistics Days is a biennial conference that brings together researchers from KU Leuven and the wider international statistics community to present advances in statistical methodology and discuss emerging research challenges across a broad range of disciplines. Held on 4–5 April 2019 at KU Leuven, Belgium, the programme featured keynote lectures, poster sessions and contributed sessions on topics including machine learning, split sampling methods and single-case experimental designs. A dedicated session on Single-Case Experimental Designs (SCEDs), chaired by Professor Patrick Onghena, included presentations by Patrick Onghena (Single-case experimental design and analysis), Dr Tamal Kumar De (SCDA: A Shiny web application for single-case data analysis) and Dr Lies Declercq (MultiSCED: Multilevel modelling of single-case experimental designs). The session showcased contemporary statistical methods and software supporting the rigorous design and analysis of single-case experimental research.
