An Introduction to N-of-1 Study Design, Conduct and Analysis in Health Research

Summary: In this one-day workshop, hosted by the Trials Methodology Research Network, participants will learn about the design, conduct and analysis of N-of-1 trials in health research. In particular, participants will learn about the rationale for conducting N-of-1 trials, the strengths and limitations associated with a range of different N-of-1 designs, practical considerations for conducting N-of-1 studies and analytic issues related to the evaluation of N-of-1 data. The workshop will include a group discussion to encourage participants to think about the opportunities and challenges of using N-of-1 methods in health research.
